About bsmitham

Bruce and his wife, Sandra, have five children and 8 grandchildren. Bruce's family is one of his most valued assets. He has special interests in real estate, computer technology, markets, and political-economy. Born and raised in Southern California, he attended the Midland School in Santa Barbara County and later graduated from UCLA with a degree in political science and a minor in behavioral science. Shortly after leaving college, Bruce became an avid student of economics. This special interest has given him the capability to analyze realty transactions in the light of broader economic factors and consequently more effectively serve the interests of his clients. Smitham entered the realty business in 1975 in Mendocino County, Northern California, and became a broker in 1977. Later, he became owner and operator of Stage Coach Realty in Ukiah, California and later Smitham Real Estate in Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe. His realty business prospered mainly because of his reliability and thorough-going concern for his clients. Although Bruce and his family loved the open-hearted atmosphere of Mendocino, he and Sandra wanted to get closer to colleges where their children could live at home while attending school, so the family moved to the San Dieguito area in 1983. Smitham has undergone numerous training courses conducted by both the National and the California Association of Realtors. He is Past Chairman of the Professional Standards & Ethics Committee of the Mendocino County Board of Realtors and also Past Chairman of the Land Use Committee of the North San Diego County Association of Realtors. He is a Past President of the Downtown Ukiah Kiwanis Club and the Del Mar-Solana Beach Optimist Club. In addition to his professional expertise, Bruce has a high sense of values which compels him to responsibly serve the interests of his clients with integrity and pride instead of focusing primarily on the bottom line for his own personal gain. After you've done business with him, you will want to turn to him again for a repeat relationship, whether buying or selling. He'd like you to consider him your valued counselor. Bruce has the knowledge and skills to best represent your property and negotiate for your benefit with the highest standards. Take a few minutes of your valuable time to discuss your real estate needs with Bruce. Call him at his office at (858)755-5254 or mobile phone (858) 922-2731
